Multimedia production of the exhibition : The History of the World in 100 Objects from the British Museum

Musée des Beaux-Arts de Valenciennes, France

April 2018

For the first time in Europe, the exhibition "The History of the World in 100 Objects" is unveiled at the Museum of Fine Arts in Valenciennes. This invitation to travel through time and space, all over the world, tells a world story through 100 pieces from the British Museum’s collections. Whether carved in stone or finely carved in gold, the objects in this exhibition evoke two million years of human history.

Mosquito created all the multimedia elements of the exhibition, including :

1 55" touch table in which the 100 objects in the exhibition are geolocated on a planisphere and ordered on a timeline.

8 screens of 49" integrated in the picture rails and hidden behind a semi-transparent tulle veil. They create the illusion of animated graphic panels.

3 22" video screens broadcast interviews with specialists.
